| IoWax is a family business! A husband, wife and four kids all share in the fun of owning and operating IoWax. IoWax is based out of Clive, Iowa and we serve the Midwest region of the United States. Integrity is our first priority, along with pleasing our customers! Capturing memories in colorful wax molds brings pleasure to us just as it does to our customers. The process of creating a wax molded memory starts with a participant dips his or her hand into warm, soothing wax a number of times until a mold is formed in the shape of their hand. Then the participant may choose to color his or her personal mold with one or more of our seven colors: Royal blue, candy-apple red, 'Hulk' green, vibrant violet, ruby red, hot pink, or teal. Participants choose the shape and design of the mold, making it a wonderfully fun and personal craft! View some of our creations on our product examples page! In the process of making a wax hand, there is no risk of injury or harm. The wax actually insulates the hand and protects the skin from any heat. Therefore, it is a safe activity for all ages! Many couples enjoy making a mold of their joined hands for a more personal and touching memory. Some customers have even created molds of their babies' feet to take home as a precious momento! IoWax
also offers memories etched in stone through stone casting. Stone
casts can be created with take-home kits sold by IoWax. The kits
include a strong and durable customized plaster solution that will hold
